Nox - (UCLan - Games Jam)

Nox was the project my Team worked on during the UCLan’s Game Jam and I was the Lead art designed and went on the win the Best Lead Art Designed in the end of the Jam.

The theme was ‘Night’ as Nox means in Latin and we wanted to showcase the difference between night time and day time which we managed to develop in a great point with the unique in-game mechanic we added to the game. (Watch the Video and enjoy).

The game begins with day time and as you encounter obstacles you then need to rotate the platform (turn to night time) in order to proceed. *The character was meant to be a wolf during night but could not complete the task.

With a good combination and using both platforms you will finally reach the end of our small Demo.

I was purely responsible for the Art side of the project as I was assigned as the Art Lead. Worked on things such as Concepts, Textures but also in-game mechanics with the rest of the team as well as general level and puzzle design ideas.
